The PDF copy was immediately available on download after the payment. However, I noticed that the document was in German, and Ihad to contact a German translator to get it translated it to English. The quality of document is legible can be used for my purpose.
The manual was complete and of great quality. Originally a tri-lingual file, I first received only one language. After a note to owners-manuals.com, I quickly received the remaining languages... Great service, definitely worth it.

The Philips scope is of excellent quality, longevity and build and had a couple of faults
when it was passed to me. Having the CCT diagrams is a blessing.
I have fixed the problems and also modded the scope to my requirements.
I have built a 24v Li-Ion pack for portable use from old but good laptop batts.

In all the other menus, one of the items can be selected by pressing either of the Â Â or Â Â buttons. Pressing either of the Â Â or Â Âbuttons will allow the item to be changed or you can go to the submenu. Pressing the Â MENUÂ button will take you to the previous menu and you can exit the menu display by pressing the "TV" button.
To change sound settings:
Â To make changes to the sound settings you will have to enter the sound menu. There are two ways of entering the sound menu: Â You can enter the Sound Menu directly by pressing the red Â Â button or Â You can press the Â MENUÂ button, which takes you to the main menu, then select sound using the Â Â or Â Â buttons and then enter the sound menu pressing either of the Â Â or Â Â buttons
Â Using Â Â Press Â Â Press Â Â or Â Â button select Balance. Â button to change balance rightwards. Â button to change balance leftwards.
As you enter the sound menu, Volume will be the first selected option. Pressing the Â Â button will increase the volume. Pressing the Â Â button will decrease the volume. Alternatively you can change the volume setting by pressing either of the Â handset. Â or Â Â buttons on the remote control
Setting Sound Effect:
You can use this feature to switch on and off sound effect. Pressing Â Â or Â Â button will turn on and off this feature. If the current sound system is MONO and the sound effect is set ON, then the sound will be heard as if it is STEREO. If the current sound system is STEREO, switching this effect on will make the sound deeper. Switching it off will make no change in MONO and STEREO.
Setting Bass Level:
Â Using Â Â Press Â Â Press Â Â or Â Â button select Bass.
To Store the Settings:
Â Using Â Â or Â Â button select Store. Press Â Â or Â Â button to store current sound settings. The stored values will be valid for all the programmes.
Â button to increase bass level. Â button to decrease bass level.
Setting Treble Level:
Â Using Â Â Press Â Â Press Â Â or Â Â button select Treble. Â button to increase treble level. Â button to decrease treble level.
To Change Headphone Sound Settings:
When using headphones, you can change the sound setting in the headphone Menu. To do this select headphones using the Â Â or Â Â buttons and then enter the headphone menu by pressing either of the Â Â or Â Â buttons. GB - 10 -
