3 Plug one end of the aerial cable provided into the 3

4 Plug one end of the scart cable into the AV1 EXT1 scart

5 Switch on the TV set. 6 Insert one end of the mains cable into the mains socket

5 Press and hold h on the remote control and while

holding that button, press and hold h/J on the video recorder. After several seconds the dipslay on the video recorder will show ’M583’ or a similar number.
6 Switch on your TV set and select the programme number

7 When the TV has been tuned read the paragraph ’Initial
